We offer the following secure payment options:
CREDIT CARD: Visa and Mastercard.* Credit card payments are processed by PayPal.
Please note you do not need a PayPal account to pay with your credit card.
BANK DEPOSIT: You may choose to deposit your payment directly in to our bank account. Our bank account details will be shown at checkout and also sent to you in an email that is sent instantly upon completing your order.
NOTE:Payment must be cleared and received by us within three (3) business days of placing your order.
If your payment has not been received within this time, the order may be cancelled and the stock returned to shelf as we do not have the capacity to hold items longer than this duration.
Orders will not be dispatched until payment has cleared.
PAYPAL: We accept payment via PayPal either using your PayPal account or you may choose to pay through PayPal by using your credit card, without having a PayPal account.
If you opt to pay via echeque through PayPal please note that we can not send your order until the payment has been cleared.
You will receive an Order Confirmation email from us once your payment has cleared advising your order is being processed. You should also receive emails from PayPal regarding your purchase.ORDER PROCESSING
Upon successfully placing your order, our system automatically sends you an email acknowledging we have received your order (if you have made payment through PayPal, you should also receive an email directly from PayPal with details of your payment - this includes PayPal echeque payments which will show you the estimated date the funds are expected to clear to finalise your payment and order).
If you do not receive an email from us within 15 minutes of placing your order, please check your junk/SPAM folder as some email providers may divert emails directly to this folder. We suggest adding us as approved senders to your email account.
Another reason you may not have received an email from us is if you entered your email address incorrectly. If you have not received an order receipt from us and you have checked your junk/SPAM folder, please contact us on 1300 797 530.
Upon receipt of your order, our inventory is updated and our staff pick the items you have ordered and reserve them for you awaiting payment.
Once we have received payment for your order, we then move to the processing stage. At this stage you will receive another email from us confirming your order. Our staff will pack your order and prepare the consignment note ready for the next available courier to collect it from us.
Your order is then shipped! Once we have shipped your order, you will receive another email from us detailing the shipping information. This email includes a tracking number (consignment number) allocated by StarTrack/AAE couriers which you can enter at www.startrack.com.au enabling you to see the progress of your order delivery.
The majority of our customers receive their order one business day after it is shipped from us!
Rarely do orders take longer than three business days to be delivered, even for remote locations.
Orders are generally sent within one business day after payment has been received.Delivery time is dependent on your location and based on orders being placed by 1.00 pm (AEST)While orders received after 1pm AEST MAY be dispatched the same day this is not guaranteed and as such, may be sent the following business day.Days are based on working days (Monday to Friday. We do not dispatch or deliver on weekends).
We only ship domestically within Australia. We do not ship internationally at this time.
The Baby Shower Shop only uses StarTrack/AAE couriers for deliveries.
Delivery time is generally 1 to 3 business days from the time the order is sent.
For example, if your order leaves our shop on a Monday, then Tuesday is Day One being the first day after your order was shipped - you could expect your order to arrive between Tuesday and Thursday (please keep in mind that public holidays are not counted as business days and may delay delivery).
While most of our orders arrive at their destination the next business day for metro areas, we are unable to guarantee next day delivery.
Delivery costs vary on location, weight and size. This cost will be calculated and shown to you at checkout prior to you paying for your order. (Perth local deliveries are a fixed price).
You can also estimate the shipping costs by viewing your cart and then clicking on the "Estimated Shipping Charges" link underneath the blue "checkout" button - this will estimate the shipping costs based on the items you have in your cart at that time.
Perth Metro area delivery: Flat rate of $9.95
All other Australian destinations (outside of Perth Metro): from $10.95 and capped at $23.95.
Important Delivery Information
We do not ship to Post Office boxes or Locked Bags.
We prefer to post to a business address for security reasons.
If you are shipping to a business, you must include the business name - failure to do so may result in delays in shipping your order. If the courier can not locate the delivery address due to the business name not being included, the order may be returned to us. In this case the customer will be responsible for all delivery charges, including the cost to return the order to us and any redelivery fees.
A signature will be required for items sent to business addresses.
For orders addressed to residential locations, an "Authority To Leave" will be placed on your package.
This means your package will be left for you (at the address you have nominated for delivery) even if you are not at home. Your order will NOT be taken to the Post Office if you are not home.
At checkout you will be asked for a location at your nominated address, to leave your order should no one be available to accept it at the time of delivery. Please note, this location has to be at the same address given, ie 'front door'.
We are unable to accept requests for delivery to a separate address other than the location given in the Delivery Address section as this is counted as a redelivery by the courier and incurs additional fees).
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between business hours.
We are unable to tell you the day and time it will be delivered and unable to accept requests for a specific delivery time.
The courier is unable to telephone you in advance to advise of delivery. However, you will be provided with full tracking details in a email we send the day your order is shipped. Using this information, you may track the delivery progress of your order online by visiting the StarTrack website at www.startrack.com.au.
The Baby Shower Shop will not be held responsible for items that have been shown as left at the address.
Your order should arrive to you within three (3) business days from the time it is shipped (the majority of Australian metro deliveries arrive the next business day from the day they are shipped).
In the rare instance that your order has not arrived by the third day, please track your order online using the information provided by us via email on the day your order was shipped. You should contact StarTrack/AAE on 132 345 in the first instance. Should you require further assistance in tracking your order, please contact us on 1300 797 530.
Please do not leave it longer than three business days from the date your order is shipped before contacting StarTrack/AAE or us for assistance as this may impede any inquiries the courier need to make to ensure the successful delivery of your order.
* Please be aware that with all postal methods, unexpected delays may happen that are beyond our control. Couriers can be affected by weather, heavy cargo loads and many other factors which The Baby Shower Shop can not be held accountable for.
If you are wanting your order to be delivered to a hospital, please ensure that the recipient will still be a patient based upon the above delivery times.
Please include full address details, including room and ward number.
Please note we often use images provided by the product manufacturers and also our own pictures which included display items, just like an actual brick and mortar shop displays items. These are meant for ideas for our customers. The product description should clearly state what you are purchasing. If you are unsure, please contact us before making your purchase.
